To look forward, one must look back. And John Derian’s new collaboration with designer Jeanette Farrier does just that: 18th century quilts and vintage sari prints plucked from each of their extensive archives have been reimagined for today. Upcycled designs lovingly hand-stitched in India and rendered in lightweight cotton layers. Made in a king size (to better suit the scale of the current century’s beds). View all our bedding here.

An avid collector of vintage fabrics and patterns, Jeanette Farrier, who had a long and celebrated career as a costume designer, has spent many years traveling from her London home to India to grow her trove. Now, with the help of the same women's collective in Mayurhat, India, who she's employed for over 15 years to transform her vintage cotton saris into a line of kantha pillows and blankets, Farrier is introducing a collection of quilted bedcovers with prints culled from her vast archives. The lovingly handmade bed covers are the ultimate modern heirloom.
