Our decoupage is handmade in our New York studio using reproduced imagery from John Derian's vast collection of antique and vintage prints. Trained artisans cut and collage our designs onto handblown glass.

ORDERING
Orders containing sale items must be made online only. We will not accept sale orders over the phone or through email. For any sale-related questions please reach out to online@johnderian.com.
Please note, items placed in shopping carts are not reserved or guaranteed for purchase. Due to limited sale quantities and high order volume, items may be purchased by a separate customer and automatically removed from your cart once the item is out of stock.

Orders are processed individually and cannot be combined or edited once placed.
LEAD TIMES
Orders containing sale items are not eligible for expedited shipping. Due to an increase in order volume, orders may take up to three weeks for delivery. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Sale items are only available for shipping within the contiguous US and are not eligible for international shipping.

There is a minimum shipping charge of $25. Orders that exceed the minimum charge due to weight or size will be calculated at checkout.
Free shipping on most orders of $250 or more within the contiguous US.
SHIPPING CONFIRMATION
We will send an email notification with UPS tracking information once your order has shipped.
We ship via UPS Ground only, which does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a non-P.O. Box address for shipping when checking out.
PICK-UP ORDERS
Free in-store pick-up is available for all sale orders at our East Village shop. Once your order is placed, we will reach out to you to confirm and schedule a pickup time. Please note that due to a high volume of sale orders, pick-up times will vary and may be up to three weeks to complete. In-Store pick-up is available Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am to 6pm at 8 E. 2nd St. NY, NY.
TAX
Tax will be added to all orders shipped to New York and Massachusetts.
DAMAGES
Despite our best efforts to prevent it, items may get damaged during shipping. If this happens, it is important that you keep the original box plus ALL packing material and immediately contact online@johnderian.com. We will reship as soon as UPS has processed the claim for the original package and the replacement product(s) are available for shipment. Due to limited sale quantities, we may not be able to replace the original item. We will contact you with available options should this occur.
SIGNATURE REQUIRED
You are responsible for accepting your order delivery. Delivery charges are not refundable for unsuccessful delivery attempts. If you require a signature, please note it in the ‘Special Instructions’ box when checking out.
John Derian Company is not responsible for additional shipping fees if you are not available to receive your package. Should you require a signature, UPS will attempt delivery 3 times before returning the shipment to the sender.
Very occasionally, UPS experiences shipping delays. We unfortunately cannot refund shipping charges in these circumstances as UPS does not refund these charges to us.
We use recycled and recyclable shipping and packing materials whenever possible.
DESIGNER DISCOUNTS
Please note, designer discounts can not be applied to sale items.

Large furniture pieces, such as cabinets, chairs, sofas, and ottomans, must be ordered via phone or email for additional shipping estimates.

Our decoupage pieces are handmade to order. Please allow 2-4 weeks for production.
Orders not including decoupage typically ship within 5-10 business days.
If you would like to receive your order sooner, please email online@johnderian.com to receive an expedited shipping quote.
We ship most orders complete. Should there be significant differences in items’ lead times, we will reach out and provide the option to ship items separately. There will be additional shipping charges if you decide to receive items separately.

WHAT IS DECOUPAGE?
Decoupage is the art of cutting and gluing paper images to a surface. John Derian, an avid collector of antique fruit, flower, and animal prints, hand-paints borders and patterns over centuries-old ledgers and letters. He combines all these elements into charmingly eccentric collages which are reprinted and pieced together in layers under glass accessories.
John's ever expanding collection includes plates, platters, paperweights, lamps, tabletops umbrella stands, vases and shadow boxes. John Derian's Designs are handmade in his studio in New York and prized by collectors around the world.

ABOUT JOHN
John’s early obsession with printed matter ultimately led him to decoupage, the art of cutting and pasting paper. Since 1989, he and a small studio of artisans in New York City have been creating glass plates, trays, bowls, and other decorative home items with imagery from his vast and ever-expanding collection of 18th and 19th century prints. His pieces are coveted and collected across the globe.
