Something eerie is in store! This Halloween, there’s a lot to explore: Cody Foster’s vintage-inspired papier-mâché buckets are perfect decorative accents, even sweeter when filled with candy. Ino Schaller, a family-owned business, has been creating holiday-themed objects in Germany since 1894. Black cats, devils, pumpkins, and mushrooms are but a few designs on offer.
The walls of our shops are adorned with new art, perfect for your home’s fall refresh. Floral still lifes from Holland, inspired by the country’s rich flower culture and art history, add a touch of color to any room. Embroidered silk velvet tabletop picture frames by Anke Dreschel surround a favorite photo or artwork in handcrafted delicacy.

Celebrate the start of school with John’s take on supplies. Our lockers are stocked with notebooks from Antoinette Poisson, Choosing Keeping, and John’s own designs for Artisan. Pair them with mechanical pencils from Astier de Villatte and Gansai watercolor sets from Japan. John’s Picture Books I and II and Sticker Book are a welcome addition to any library, as is his selection of books on flowers, design, and entertaining.

These textiles have stories to tell. Our custom made pillows in John Derian for Pierre Frey’s Le Paravent Chinois fabric evoke 18th-century floral chinoiserie, while our antique rug cushions are one-of-a-kind, repurposed treasures. The new John Derian × Jeanette Farrier Indigo Bedcover blends 1920s Ghanaian indigo patchwork with traditional Bengal weaving. Watch how it’s made here.

This new book, officially on sale September 23rd, is adapted from the John Derian Picture Book II. Over 700 stickers created with images from John’s collection of antique artworks.
In the drawer this month, we explore “Spectropia” a Victorian-era book that invites readers to summon “ghosts everywhere and of any colour,” from which John has conjured up some special designs.
