GOOD NATURED

Artist Christopher D. Bassett's reverence for our many natural wonders runs so deep that his works puts them on a pedestal. His mosaics of collected shells piled high like organic bouffants atop an urn are the most exquisite ode to the sea. For a display of nature's beauty that's more subdued, consider Bassett's new collection of potted silk flowers: pansies, irises, and parrot tulips rendered in silk and encrusted into terracotta pots. FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA

With summer just around the corner, we've already got the ocean idling on our minds. Our decoupage collection aptly titled "The Sea" gathers all things that remind us of just that from orange anchor pencil trays to round plates adorned with bright red crabs or octopi or coral to an exquisite platter designed to look like the shimmering inside of an abalone shell. You will surely find your sea legs here.
