John found these these original antique chairs in Belgium after being drawn to their surprising comfort. In his collaboration with Cisco Brothers, the pair served as a blueprint for the Leaf Chair, replicating their compact silhouette and adding a generously stuffed seat perfect for long dinners or desk work. This original pair is upholstered in John's fabric collaboration with Pierre Frey, a reproduction of an 18th century chinoiserie panel from John's archive.
