This month, we explore what’s in John’s studio drawers with a large 19th-century lithograph capturing the Port of Provincetown from Long Point, a view rendered in detail by F. Kimball Rogers in 1877.

Located on the tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Provincetown has long captivated artists and visitors alike. John especially loves this view, which he’s returned to for over 50 years, admiring how it captures the beauty of Provincetown from across the bay. He’s reimagined the details of the print into decoupage trays, wallpaper & fabric, a new canvas tote, and a collaboration with Astier de Villatte.
