Liz Sexton is newly based in Minneapolis, after working as an artist in Brooklyn for several years. Like most people, she was introduced to paper mache as a child and has always appreciated the accessibility and versatility of the medium. Many layers of paper go into each piece, as well as an obsessive amount of detailing. Liz is fascinated by the natural world and space, and her work is an exploration and celebration of those wonders.
