Late 17th-century Kangxi Period Porcelain Shipwreck Plate (#3)

This 17th-century porcelain plate is among John Derian's trove of handpicked vintage & antique goods. Dating back to the Kangxi Period (1662–1722), the plate features a "kingfisher blue" cobalt underglaze with chrysanthemum blossoms. This piece maintains a marine patina after being submerged in water for over three centuries before its recovery during a historical shipwreck salvage excavation.
